Dear Valued Customer,
The corrugated industry is experiencing some uncharted waters. Recent weather events have disrupted the flow of Pulp to the mills. The Earthquake in Chile has removed 6-7% out of the market not to mention the problems in the southern states with ability to get trucks into the mountains. Along with a tax credit to the mills from the government which has ended. All of the major suppliers have raised raw material from 10-12% and have laid the ground work for future increases upwards to 40%. This is an industry wide increase in which we cannot absorb the cost of rising paper. So effective with orders placed on or after April 15th we are forced to raise our prices by 10%. We value you as a customer and look forward to a continued relationship.
Sincerely,
Management
